I've been a software developer / core Network administrator for the last 12 years working in the telecomms industry and manufacturing industry in and around Hull.

I have seen the turn of many network environments including Windows NT > 2000 > 2003 and > 2008 as well as working on Avaya telecom switches, HP & Cisco Switches, HP VLans, many different VPN solutions from different providers, M$ SQL server since version 6.5 in 1997, Oracle 8i, 9i, 10G,
I've worked with Red-hat, fedora, ubuntu range, Solaris, AIX unix environments for the best part of 6 years in a business capacity..

I have written software for BT, KCOM, Powergen (Eon) also indirectly for Hull City Council and talk-talk car phone warehouse as part of a call centre project.

All my software is written using Microsoft development languages, so they can be integrated easily into Active Directory, Exchange email, SQL server and a host of other Microsoft backend infrastructures.

I do have a full time job as well, but as they say... "theres 24 hours in a day" :)
